About me
The common thread of my journey has always been the search for meaningful connections.
I’m Alessia. I live in Barga and teach yoga and accompany people in caring for themselves in Barga, Lucca and Castelnuovo di Garfagnana.
I graduated in Law from the Universities of Florence and Pisa and began my professional career as a legal advisor, working with leading law firms first in Rome and later in Bologna, where I focused on the internationalisation of companies in the United Arab Emirates. In Bologna I also obtained a Master’s degree in Human Resources.
It was in Bologna that my journey of personal and professional transformation began. I discovered yoga and became a certified Akhanda Yoga teacher through Il Kutir – Scuola di Yoga di Bologna and the Akhanda Yoga Institute in Rishikesh, India.
I later moved to Milan, where I worked with a leading marketing and events agency. After the pandemic I chose to return to Barga, my hometown, with the wish to bring back to the area the skills and experience I had gained over the years, and to shape a new professional path, increasingly focused on wellbeing and personal growth.
I attended the prestigious Italian School of Holistic Medicine (SIMO) in Milan and deepened my yoga training with the Iyengar Yoga teacher Gabriella Giubilaro. I then continued my journey in India, in Mysore, where I studied Ashtanga Yoga with Sri BNS Iyengar, an Indian master of great tradition and one of the oldest living teachers of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
In January 2026 I took part in the Hoffman Quadrinity Process, an intensive programme devoted to personal growth, emotional intelligence and self-awareness: an experience that marked a further step in my journey of research and transformation.

Today I live in Barga and carry out my work in Barga, Lucca and Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. I accompany people on journeys devoted to wellbeing, awareness and the search for greater balance between body, mind and inner life.
Alongside this, I am a consultant for Limbo Entertainment and Project Manager of Limbo Festival, a boutique festival held at Tenuta Il Ciocco in Barga.

Although my journey has taken me through seemingly different worlds – law, international business, human resources, marketing, events, yoga and holistic wellbeing – the common thread has always been my curiosity and my search for meaningful connections: between professional expertise and personal growth, between creativity and organisation, and above all, between body, mind and awareness.
